Mrs. Lanisha T. Rolle was born in Nassau Bahamas on November 16th, 1976 to Mr. A, Derek Thompson and Loreen Russell nee Evans. She completed her high school education in Nassau, at S.C. McPherson Secondary school.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Administration from the Sojourner Douglass College of Baltimore, Maryland, a Master of Science Degree in Human Resources Management from the Nova Southeastern University of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and an LL.B. Honors Law Degree from the University of the West Indies, Barbados (Nassau, Campus).
She is a former Police Officer of the Royal Bahamas Police Force and an Ordained Minister of the Christian Faith.
As a practicing Counsel and Attorney-at-Law, Lanisha serves as the Managing Attorney of Progressive Legal Services Chambers located in Nassau, Bahamas where she specializes in Civil Litigation and Commercial Law.
Lanisha has also served as a Part-time Lecturer of Law and Business for the College of the Bahamas.
She is an executive officer of the Free National Movement where she currently serves as National Vice Chairman. She was formerly elected to the post of Assistant Secretary General, and simultaneously served as Youth Advisor to the Torch Bearers Youth Association. Mrs. Rolle served as an FNM Senator between 24th February, 2015 and May 2016.
