He obtained his primary education at the Mastic Point All Age and Secondary Education at the North Andros High School. He furthered his studies at Prospect Hall School of Business in Hollywood Florida, where he obtained an Associate’s Degree in Computer Programming and Accounting. In 1996 he returned to The Bahamas where he was employed with the Bahamas Customs Department until October, 2016.
Carlton has a special affinity with his hometown and has long sought to be a part of the solution to the challenges facing his fellow Androsians. He is particularly focused on infrastructural needs in the North Andros constituency and on bringing renewed attention to needed upgrades in education and health services for all the residents of North Andros.
